popular
auto-curated popular posts from relay members. this is a read-only relay where events are automatically fetched from other relays and saved based reactions, replies, favorites and zaps created by members.
how the popular relay works:
- this is a read-only relay, nothing can be published here directly
- relay members that have the main relay in their outbox list will naturally send replies, reactions and zaps there, we use that data to compute what notes on the broader Nostr ecosystem are poppular with the members of this relay
- notes that reach the reaction threshold (from members' reactions, replies and zaps) are saved and become visible
- once a note gets even more traction it is promoted to the uppermost relay and removed from this
